Over the past 18 months two committees, the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) and the British Dyslexia Association dyscalculia and mathematics learning difficulties committee, have been actively working on a new definition for dyscalculia and assessment guidelines to support diagnostic assessment.
