A new definition of dyscalculia to improve understanding and differentiation in the classroom.
Over the past 18 months two committees, the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) and the British Dyslexia Association dyscalculia and mathematics learning difficulties committee, have been actively working on a new definition for dyscalculia and assessment guidelines to support diagnostic assessment.
